We went to see a BIG sailing ship called Queen Galadriel. There were rails all round to stop us falling in the water but it was still a bit scary going over the gang plank.
Luckily the beaver carrying me got over safely because I can't swim! I got to try the steering wheel, sleeping on a bunk and looked at the enormous engine.
We couldn't go sailing but maybe another time.
Lucky Beavers got biscuits and juice - I was so jealous because I am not allowed them. My fur just gets all messed up and Brown Bear gets cross.
Best news of all - I found out I am going on a cruise with Eli next week! I can't wait...sailor hat, sunglasses, passport...yep I'm ready!
My Beavers took me to Science Sunday where we saw lots of exciting things. I got to ride on their shoulders so I could see what was happening.
We watched an amazing Science magician and did some experiments with electricity and water (not at the same time stupid).
I got to drive a train which was extra special because the others just got to ride on one!
There was a scary moment when I got lost and was left on a table but then a Beaver mum rescued me and gave me a big hug so it was OK again.
My Beaver friends look after me so well and help me to join in. My arms and legs are a bit short and I can't reach much without them.
Thanks Beavers. I am having SO MUCH FUN!
Hi. I am Beaver Bear. Today I was invested in North Fambridge Beaver Colony.
I was a bit shy for the first bit of the meeting so I hid in the kitchen! They seemed to be having fun doing lots of animal things though so I was not too scared when Beaver Nick came to get me.
After the ceremony I got to meet all the other beavers properly.
We are going to have lots of adventures together...next week we are going to see an old sailing ship. Apparently it is even older than Brown Bear so that is VERY old!
Finally after months of waiting we are now launching our new Beaver Colony.
First meeting is Friday 4th November. If you have a boy or girl aged 6 to 8, email email@example.com for details and you will be welcome to join us.
